Due to numerous reports of Fungal Meningitis associated with the use of contaminated injectable corticosteroid products (methylprednisolone acetate and triamcinolone acetonide) compounded and distributed by New England Compounding Center?s (NECC) Framingham, Massachusetts pharmacy, the Food and Drug Administration warned medical providers NOT to use any NECC compounded preparations. To eliminate any misinformation and confusion, CuraScript SD Specialty Distribution wants to inform healthcare professionals that all drug products including injectable drug products are purchased from properly registered FDA manufacturers.
